Reasi: The ongoing protest by National Health Mission (NHM) employees in Reasi received a major boost as Hon’ble MLA Gulabgarh, Er. Khurshid Ahmed, visited the peaceful protest site at District Hospital Reasi.
During his visit, MLA Khurshid Ahmed interacted with the protesting NHM employees and listened to their four-point demands. He assured the employees that their concerns would be raised strongly in the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly and taken up with the concerned Government authorities.
The NHM employees expressed their gratitude to the MLA for extending support to their cause and said that his assurance had further strengthened their morale during the ongoing protest.
Speaking on behalf of the NHM employees, Madhur Bharti, President, NHM Employees Association, District Reasi, thanked Er. Khurshid Ahmed for standing with the protesting employees and supporting their demands.
The NHM employees reiterated their resolve to continue their struggle peacefully until their genuine demands are addressed.
